Refresher Course
If you lack confidence on the road or have not been driving for a while,
the Refresher Course is just what you need to help lead to relaxed, comfortable,
enjoyable and safe motoring. An opportunity for you to take advantage of the expertise of a qualified instructor on any concerns or worries you have about your driving. A flexible course designed for the individual.
Motorway Tuition
If you take no other post test training, Motorway tuition is vital to your lifetimes driving career. Ideally you should book and pay for your first Motorway lesson on the day you pass your Driving Test. At Lois School of Motoring we will offer you a discounted rate if you took your test with us, take the money when you pass or finish your Pass Plus course and then contact you in three months time for the lesson. This way we can check any bad habits you have lapsed into and you get a chance to benefit from the expertise of a qualified instructor once you have gained some experience on the roads. This is why we recommend this tuition for new drivers even though motorway driving is included in the Pass Plus course.
Defensive Driving Course
On today's busy roads (and especially in London) the only way to safe
motoring unfortunately involves avoiding other drivers errors and bad judgements.
The Defensive Driving Course will put you on the right track teaching you how to avoid the accidents that others would cause as well as how to be less likely to cause any yourself.
Night Driving
Night driving is included within the Learner Driver Course and the Pass Plus Course with Lois School of Motoring but separate lessons are available for those who learned elsewhere and didn't have any nightime tuition or for those who find night driving a worry in any way.
Parking Lessons
The reverse or parallel park is now part of the Driving Test but practice is necessary in order to maintain and improve this skill. These lessons are for you if you are out of practice or find shopping car parks a problem (you should reverse in and drive out so that you are not reversing out into an area used by pedestrians including small children who are difficult to see out of the rear of your vehicle). Or perhaps you took your test before the parking exercise was included. If you are experiencing any problems why not take a lesson or two? It could save years of frustration!
